This policy explains what information Episode Ink uses, where it comes from, and how you can stop hearing from us or ask us to delete it.

Who we are

Podcast contact information

We contact independent podcasters who may benefit from written content based on their episodes. To do that we only use information podcasters have chosen to publish:

• show name, website, owner name and contact email published in the show's public RSS feed and podcast directories such as the Podcast Index;
• the public episodes themselves, which we may use to prepare a free sample for the show.

We use it only to send a podcaster a relevant offer about their own show. Each show receives a small number of messages, and every message explains how to stop receiving them.

Customers

When you request a sample or subscribe, we keep your name, email, show name and feed address. We use them only to produce and deliver your content and to talk to you about the service. Payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card details.

Episodes and transcripts

We transcribe your public episodes only to write your content. Transcripts and drafts are used for your show alone and are not shared or sold. We use trusted providers for transcription and writing assistance, under terms that do not allow them to publish your content.

This website

This site has no forms, no advertising and no visitor tracking or analytics cookies. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell or rent any information. We only share it with the providers we need to operate (email, hosting, transcription and payments). If you ask us to stop contacting you, we delete your details and keep only your email address on a suppression list, so you are never contacted again.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails with the word "unsubscribe", or by writing to hello@episodeink.com. We honor requests within 10 business days, usually the same day. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
